1 cup roughly chopped toasted walnuts
1 cup chopped pitted dates
1½ tablespoons raw cocoa or cocoa
2 teaspoons chia seeds
Place the dates, walnuts and cocoa in the bowl of a large food processor along with two teaspoons water and blend for 1 minute or until mixture is fully combined and forming a ball.
Transfer to a bowl and add the chia seeds. Using your hands, roll the mixture into walnut sized balls (approx. 3cm in diameter) and place on a lined baking tray. Refrigerate, covered, for up to 3 days.
To serve, roll in extra finely crushed walnuts or chia seeds.
