The International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) and the Association of Chilean Walnut Producers and Exporters – CHILENUT – are pleased to invite you to participate in the VIII International Symposium on Walnut, Cashew and Pecan, which shall be held in the city of Santiago, in Chile’s between November 29th and December 1st, 2017.
The purpose of this nut industry summit is to showcase the latest technological breakthroughs and developments for walnut, cashew and pecan.
This activity is held every four years. Past hosts include Hungary, Portugal, France, Italy, Australia and China, in that order.
Given the importance Chile has acquired in the international nut trade market, the International Society for Horticultural Science nominated Chilenut to be the co-organizer of this global gathering, which promises to offer a thorough scientific view of the global scenario faced by the different varieties that makeup this group of species.
