A major study, involving more than 102,000 post-menopausal women, has found a higher plant protein intake to be linked with a 9% lower risk of all-cause mortality, and that substituting red meat, eggs and dairy with nuts was associated with a lower risk of death from all causes.

The research has just been published in the Journal of the American Heart Association. We are drawing attention to these findings, which are positive for nuts, through traditional and social media.
