Walnut Information Day

As a result of the article in the Weekly Times, the organiser, Bryan Goble, have received over 50 phone calls, and therefore the Australian Walnut Industry Association has decided to have a Walnut Information Day, to be held on the 19th August 2006 in Bendigo.

The day will give an overview of the history, current status, and predicted future of the walnut industry. Information will be available on orchard establishment, tree selection, tree management, and marketing options.

The day will also include visits to two establishing walnut orchards in the Bendigo area.
